Terms of service

 

AGREEMENT FOR MAKEUP SERVICES



It is hereby agreed by and between Emily Turnbull, hereafter referred to as “Artist”, and

the Client hereinafter referred to as “Purchaser” as follows:


1. Purchaser hereby requests and agrees to retain the Artist to provide makeup services as specified in this contract as per attached quotation.

2. Purchaser agrees to make the following payments and be bound by the following terms and conditions. A non refundable booking payment of £80 secures the attached booking,

Mileage will also be included as quoted.

Artist shall have the option to void agreement if deposit and signed agreement is not received within 14 days from the receipt of the booking form.

The balance of the total sum shall be due fourteen (14) days prior to the event in the form of cheque or BACs payment. Cash on the day of the booking may also be acceptable only where agreed beforehand.

In the event that the Artist receives written notice from the Purchaser not less than sixty (60) days prior to the Event Date that the Artist’s services shall not be required by the Purchaser, the Purchaser shall only be liable for 50% of the contracted price.
In the event that the Artist receives written notice from the purchaser, notifying the Artist of a cancellation between fourteen (14) and twenty nine (29) days prior to the date of the event, Purchaser agrees to pay seventy five percent (75%) of the contracted price.

If the Purchaser shall fail to notify the Artist of a cancellation in a manner as provided above, or in the event of breach of this agreement then the purchaser shall remain responsible for the full contract price specified, including all costs, expense, damages and fees (includes costs of cancellations, court costs, and reasonable attorneys fees) incurred by the Artist in enforcing this agreement.

The above terms are viable for any member of the Bridal or Event Party that cancels their part of the agreement.

4. Purchaser herby agrees to indemnify Artist for any loss or damage to the Artist, its personnel, and equipment at the Event Site, provided the loss or damage was caused by person other than the Artist or Assistants.

5. The Artist shall not be liable for omissions or failure to perform its obligation when such is through accident or caused by events reasonably may be deemed beyond control of the Artist. If the Artist should be materially or physically incapacitated from performing its service for any reason , Artist shall have the option to be replaced by an equally qualified Artist.

6. No warranties are made by the Artist and the Artist shall not be liable for any direct and consequential damages arising out of the performance of service under this agreement. Including reactions to products, should the purchaser fail to notify the Artist of allergies or skin sensitivities of any and all of the clients prior to the application of makeup.

8. Any images bearing the likeness of the purchaser taken at the event by the Artist belong to the Artist, and permission is granted for these to be posted on social media sites, marketing materials, and website as required. Purchaser has the option to request to see images before they are posted,

Those persons who are included in this contract are guaranteed services and if time allows additional clients can be added, on or before the event date for additional fees. Additional services on the event date are to be paid in the form of cash.
